UX Designer (Addison, Texas)

Morsco’s Digital Solutions Team is looking for an energetic, passionate and experienced User experience Designer who is an excellent communicator and can identify opportunities for improvement, innovation and impact. The UX Designer will work closely with Product Owner and UX design team to create simple, intuitive and meaningful user experiences for Digital Commerce Products. 

What You’ll Do

  • User Research: You will be planning and conducting user research (both Qualitative and Quantitative), presenting insights on current user experience
  • Design: Design, validate and iterate conducting review sessions from concept to implementation
  • Collaboration: You’ll be working collaboratively with product managers, designers, engineers and technical teams to communicate design rationale and address feedback from stakeholders
  • Usability testing: You have experience in both moderated and unmoderated usability testing

To be successful

  • BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, visual communications, Human Computer Interaction, etc.) or relevant field 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • A strong portfolio to showcase product design work from concept to implementation
  • Experience in mobile and web design
  • Advocate for and ensure that your designs are compliant with accessibility requirements
  • Highly proficient in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Axure, etc.,
  • Should be comfortable working with complexity and determining constraints in ambiguous situations

Additional Qualifications

  • Passionate about design and takes the initiative to learn independently and proactively contribute to the success of the team
  • Intellectual curiosity and analytical skills in broad areas relating to user experience, technology and design
  • Ability to successfully interact with users (internal and external), quickly assimilate new information and manage expectations of others
  • Prepare thoughtful documentation on the designed experience to assist in smooth transition from design team to our IT or engineering partners
