Serve as the subject matter expert on various Salesforce Marketing Cloud related technologies, features, and offerings.
Provide guidance on technical architecture, integration, development, configuration, customization efforts for the team.
Mentor and coach technical and non-technical Salesforce team members including 3rd party development resources.
Create business rules and queries to develop advanced segmentation and assist with analytics.
Analyze needs and develop solutions using traditional and/or agile development methodologies.
Design solutions that leverage Salesforce best practices and introduce new technologies when needed.
Translate business requirements into well-designed solutions.
Understand the entire marketing ecosystem within the Reece USA business.
Maintain awareness of new Marketing technologies as well as Marketing business processes.
Keep aware of regular releases to help analyze new features, create new processes, and recommend enhancements to Salesforce.
Maintain deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud projects and architecture.
Work with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Installed Packages, FTP, Transactional Journeys, SQL Automations, Reporting, Journey Builder, AmpScript, HTML and other system related config security, and access control.
Utilize any of the above skills to technically build an idea from a user story to a usable feature deployed to production environments.
Understand system architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions.
Document and facilitate SFMC data model and data management practices.
Hands on experience building in Email studio and Journey Builder.
Work with relational database management systems and utilize SQL automations.
Design and code unique landing pages, including microsites and integrations with other systems.
Utilize tools such as Salesforce journey builder for marketing campaign support.
Manage digital marketing systems including building campaigns, designing flows, managing data, etc.
Maintain integratins with related systems including Marketing Cloud Connect to link to Sales Cloud.
Build Cloud pages, Emails, Contact Connections, Data integratios from Sales Cloud or other systems.
Drive new functionality within Einstein, Interaction Studio, DMP or other complex solutions related to the Marketing Cloud space.
Ensure projects meet compliance within CAN-SPAM, CCPA, CASL, and GDPR digital communication compliances.
Own the platform technical strategy and capabilities to ensure scalability and functionality aligns with the business roadmap.
Deploy a multi-disciplinary approach (i.e. machine learning, AI tools, business analytics, etc.) to solving business challenges
Contribute to building a repository of tools, playbooks and best practices.
Advise on environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of experience configuring and building in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required.
Excellent interpersonal communications skills; able to effectively communicate and build relationships with stakeholders, process teams, leadership, and third parties
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present in a clear and concise manner to all levels within the enterprise.
Two or more relevant Salesforce Certifications.
Working knowledge of Salesforce AmpScrip and SQL.
Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud preferred.
Experience with preference centers and subscription/list/preference management.
Working knowledge of HTML, email design principles, and email best practices.
Experience or knowledge with SFMC APIs or SSJS is a plus.
