Product Marketing Manager II
Develop and effectively implement ongoing marketing strategies to ensure the long term success of value added products
Prepare appropriate support literature, training material and SOAK (intranet) content (including clear understanding and simple explanation of the true benefits of the products; product information leaflets, website, and the like; point of sale branding; and stock profile per type of store)
Unify the brand images, e.g. packaging, brochures & materials, website, and the like to ensure consistency across all mediums (using and creating appropriate style guidelines)
Design Brand Marketing Campaign that develops over time and reinforces our brand message
Gain a full understanding of the products, their features benefits and marketability
Using tools and data (eg. Customer Surveys, Benchmarks) with input from suppliers, customers and staff, determine what about our brand will establish a bond with customers and enhance business and brand growth
Perform market analysis, competitor tracking, sales and market share analysis and monitoring of promotion programs
Bring stories to life that wins the hearts and minds of our customers
A great brand is a story well-told; Makes our branch network the expert through unique storytelling
Gain a deep understanding of our customer’s needs, habits, and requirements in order to identify new product opportunities
Keep abreast of the changes occurring in the market place in respect to competitors, like products, regulation changes and plumbing standards, product shifts and pricing
Identify potential new markets for expansion and growth
Work with Category Managers to continually develop current product offering
Increase VAP / Directional Product Sales
Create national awareness and demand for the product range and educate consumers and trade audiences about the unique benefits of the product
Ensure that all staff are knowledgeable on VAPs and have the ability to sell them
Ensure branches consistently sell the full range of VAP
Provide tools for branches and field marketing teams to enable them to demonstrate and train customers on the products
Perform other duties as assigned.

Technology Savvy - Use technology effectively, seeking ways to use technology for the good of the business. Will be proactive in investigating and adopting new technologies to achieve competitive advantage.
Organizing and planning - Has strong organizing and planning skills, can manage their time wisely and effectively prioritise multiple competing tasks.
Problem Solving and Decision Making - Able to identify problems, solve them, act decisively, and show good judgment.
Influence - Proficient at influencing and motivating staff to be the best they can be.
Results Orientation - Can focus on outcomes that align with the business plan, are motivated by achievement, and persist until the goal is reached.

Bachelors and Post Graduate degree in Business / Marketing
Relevant industry experience (e.g., wholesale, distribution, retail)
Experience leading direct report(s)
