Product Associate Professional
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - PART ONE
Directional & Exclusive Plumbing Products (Pipe & Fittings)???
To create awareness and demand for the product range and educate consumers and trade audiences about?the unique benefits of the product??
Ensure that all staff are knowledgeable on the specified products and have the ability to sell them?
Work with?specific suppliers to gain a full understanding of the products, their features benefits and marketability??
Network with key decision makers including?specifiers?and architects to gain acceptance of the product?
Provide demonstrations and training to customers where required, incorporating staff where possible.?
Keeps abreast of the changes occurring in the market place in respect to competitors, like products, regulation changes and plumbing standards, product shifts and pricing etc.?
Monitors sales analysis of the relevant product areas?
Assist Product Development?
Facilitate ongoing training programs for staff and customers to improve their product knowledge.?
Demonstrates how best to sell?the specified product ranges / brands ?
Actively participates in further training provided by relevant manufacturers and suppliers as required?
Actively participates in sales training programs provided by the company to assist in the development of skills??
Responsible for developing product and technical knowledge of team members, including branch staff, inside sales team and outside sales team.???
3.??? Customer Relationship?
Support internal and external customer requirements?
Conducts site and customers visits to gain knowledge to maximize the sales of the products?
Provide Work in Progress (WIP) Reports on findings and developments??
Build strong relationships with regional, sales & branch managers??
Follows the systems that have been developed for handling customer service calls and complaints related to exclusive products??
Proactively responds to customer complaints or issues relating to installations,?etc?and resolves to meet the satisfaction of the Customer, Reece and Branch management?
Actively supports and maintains Reece policies and the Reece commitment to total customer satisfaction??
Encourages the branch network to be passionate about?the exclusive ranges / brands??
Provides technical assistance to internal and external customers?
4.??? Prospecting?/ Opportunities
Sourcing of new business/sales opportunities
Where specification is required, work with the key decision makers to have our product range specified.
Follow through leads provided by branches; including presentations to clients??
Monitors and analyse the sales of the?products; identify both weak and strong product performers and action accordingly?
Monitors?key projects; and look for opportunities to promote the full range of?products
Perform other duties as assigned.

Functional/Technical Expertise - Has relevant knowledge and skills with industry experience and at least 2 years’ experience.

Technology Savvy - Use technology effectively, seeking ways to use technology for the good of the business. Will be proactive in investigating and adopting new technologies to achieve competitive advantage.
Organizing and planning - Has strong organizing and planning skills, can manage their time wisely and effectively prioritise multiple competing tasks.

Influence - Proficient at influencing and motivating staff to be the best they can be.

Undergraduate degree in relevant field
2+ years relevant industry experience (e.g., wholesale, distribution, retail)
Mechanical engineering experience
