Power BI Developer
As a member of the Data Solutions Team, and reporting to the Reporting and Analytics Lead, the Power BI Developer will play a key role in building and maintaining business intelligence reports and dashboards. As a Power BI Report Developer at Morsco, you will primarily support the business in creating and maintaining meaningful reports and analysis aligned with key business metrics. In addition, you will work closely with key business stakeholders to devise new ways to measure and predict future business performance as well as uncover insights that could help inform management decisions.
A ideal candidate's skills include:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing and developing dashboards and reports; Minimum 3 years using Power BI; Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports and dashboards.
Demonstrated proficiency with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
A solid understanding of security models in Power BI and the ability to implement row level restrictions.
Demonstrated proficiency with relational databases. Experience with SQL Server databases and SQL scripting is a must.
Demonstrated proficiency with ETL scripts and tools. Experience with ADF, SSIS, SSAS and T-SQL is a definite asset.
Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers.
Proven analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
Power BI certification is a definite asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
University degree or College diploma in the field of Information Technology; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Must be able to work in an office and remote environment.
