Front Desk Coordinator - MORSCO Support Center in Addison, TX

The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for operating multi-line phone system; sorting mail; send/receive overnight packages; receive and send faxes for executive staff, greet customers and business associates in a professional manner, and performing miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned.

Job Expectations

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Focus
    • Represents the company by being the first voice a guest hears when they call, welcoming visitors that come to the MORSCO corporate office.
    • Greet customers and business associates in a friendly and professional manner
  • General Duties
    • Answers all incoming telephone calls using VOIP phone system; routes to appropriate personnel; use paging system when necessary.
    • Correspondence handling:
      • Receive/send FedEx and Lonestar packages
      • Sorting/stamping incoming mail
      • Routing to proper recipient
      • Send/receive faxes for Executive staff
      • Keep employees informed via email regarding power/phone/computer outages
    • Manage office, kitchen and break room supplies as needed to maintain needed inventory.
    • Schedule conference room meetings
  • Benefits
    • Responding to requests for benefits cards via our partner’s online portal
    • Completing benefits verification letters using a standard template
    • Answering first level benefits coverage questions for Associates and family members, especially during Open Enrollment and onboarding
    • Running reports and transferring information to Excel for vendor reference
    • Initiating benefits tasks for employees when specific criteria are achieved
  • Compensation
    • Uploading bonus worksheets to employee records in Workday
    • Entering pre-approved sales commission adjustments into the sales system
  • Perform other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years clerical/receptionist experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Basic accounting including 10-key skills preferred.
  • Must be computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, and customer relations skills are required.
  •  Attention to detail, mental concentration, and ability to multi-task are necessary for accurately performing tasks and handling frequent interruptions.
