Cash Application Manager


The Cash Application Manager is responsible for the cash management function in an assigned geographic portfolio as it relates to proper application, communication, and staff needs. As a Cash Application Manager, you will be working closely with the Cash Application Team along with senior management to maximize company and department goals & objectives.

Job Expectations

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Oversight of assigned cash application operations
  • Oversight of the Cash Application Team
  • Review and implement improvement in cash management
  • Communicate with customers, branches and credit department on various items as needed
  • Development of and Compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Reconciliation and timely responses
  • Monitor cash flow on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Preparation of cash reports to next level management
  • Audit compliance
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

  • Timely application of daily funds
  • Timely dispute resolution and management UC report
  • Management of a team
  • Excellent communication with all internal and external customers
  • Adoption and execution of company Vision and Values


  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written

  • Ability to handle stress successfully and maintain a positive attitude
  • Ability to manage time, multi-task, and problem solve
  • Must be analytical, professional and organized
  • Ability to work independently or as a team
  • General computer skills (Windows, Office, Excel)
  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Typical office environment with moderate noise level
  • Regularly requires standing, walking, sitting, use hands, reaching with hands and arms
  • Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, with occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds


  • 5 years Cash Application experience in high volume, fast paced environment
  • Associates Degree in related financial field is preferred
